Accessibility
At Lucky’s, we value inclusion and equality for all of our customers, which is why we are committed to making our website accessible to all. We are in a constant pursuit of integrating accessibility into the core of everything we design and build. We want to hear from you! You may email us at ageller@luckyssoho.com so we can continue working to provide you with the best experience possible.
Conformance Status & Technology
During the 2026 platform rebuild of Lucky's Steakhouse, we completely re-architected our digital presence to be a static-first application using the Astro framework and Tailwind CSS. This modern, zero-JS-by-default approach allows us to ensure a lighting-fast, highly semantic, and deeply accessible experience.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities.
Measures to Support Accessibility
- Use of fully semantic HTML5 elements throughout the site
- Extensive ARIA labels and title attributes on all interactive elements, images, and navigation links
- Full keyboard navigation support, including focus trapping where necessary
- An integrated "skip-to-content" link for screen readers
- Sufficient color contrast ratios exceeding WCAG AA standards
- Descriptive alternative text for all imagery and decorative elements clearly marked as hidden
- Visible, high-contrast focus indicators on all links, buttons, and inputs
- Respect for system-level reduced motion preferences via CSS media queries
