ABOUT OUR HERITAGE
LUCK FAVORS THE BOLD
Lucky's Steakhouse was founded in 2000 at 1279 Coast Village Road in Montecito, California. Originally constructed as the Montecito Bungalows back in 1926, the building had changed hands many times over the decades. Local legend spoke of the bungalows being a hideaway for Hollywood stars during the golden age of cinema, a tradition of elegance we carry forward today.
THE LUCKY'S TRADITION BROUGHT TO THE BEACH
After 20 years of operation, Lucky's expanded to a second location in beautiful Malibu. Located within the iconic Malibu Country Mart, Lucky's Malibu serves the coastal community with daily lunch and dinner service, bringing our signature USDA Prime steaks to the Pacific shore.
LUCKY'S ON LAFAYETTE ST.
In 2024, Lucky's opened its first East Coast location in Manhattan's vibrant SoHo neighborhood. With 50 intimate seats and a dedicated private dining room, Lucky's Soho offers the group's most exclusive experience yet in the heart of New York City.
EAST HAMPTON
Lucky's expanded its New York presence with the opening of Lucky's East Hampton in summer 2025. Residing in a historic space at 85 Montauk Highway, Lucky's honored local ties by retaining the seasoned staff, ensuring the Hamptons tradition remains alive.
Gene Montesano's entrepreneurial spirit has played a central role in many companies, such as Lucky Brand Jeans, Joe's Cafe, Lucky's Steakhouse, Tre Lune Restaurant, D'Angelo Bakery, Civilianaire and more.
